Fifty People And A Dog At First Green Drinks Brussels

The first Green Drinks Brussels organised by Sustainability Consult was held last night at the Aloft Brussels Schuman bar. We weren't sure how many people would come to the first Green Drink Brussels but they started arriving early and just kept coming.

The drinks went on for over three hours and were attended by more than 50 people (and a beautiful greyhound). The crowd came mainly from environmental NGOs, trade associations, think tanks, EU institutions, companies and the United Nations Environmental Programme. They mingled, networked and had lively conversations on environmental issues and sustainability.

Over the last 20 years, Green Drinks have been a networking platform for over 600 cities in 64 countries. Many people have found work, made friends, developed new ideas, established business partnerships and found inspiration through Green Drinks.

After last night's amazing turnout, we are so pleased to have taken the initiative to add Brussels to the map of Green Drinks cities. It gives us chance to share our passion for sustainability, meet old friends and make new ones.
