Noémie Léonard – Junior Consultant

Noémie Léonard is one of the newest Sustainability Consult recruits. She graduated from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in Linguistics and Literary Studies where she developed a passion for deconstructing words and sentences. Her understanding of language means you can count on Noémie for clear, fluid writing.

Originally from Belgium, Noémie took a gap year in Australia before coming back to Brussels for her undergraduate degree. She spent six months studying in the UK on the Erasmus programme. While abroad, Noémie wrote a blog, capturing life’s quirky moments on camera and recounting her adventures in Devon and Down Under.

Now that she is back in Belgium, Noémie lives the life of a green, modern-day Brusseleir. She is a vegetarian, eats organic and generally tries to live a sustainable lifestyle. She still has more than one string to her bow, with interests ranging from environment and green living to baking and literature.

A born dancer, Noémie spent her childhood creating dance shows for her mum to patiently watch. At 16, she choreographed her first six-part ballet, enlisting friends to dance for her and single-handedly organising an entire performance – this time, with more than just her mum in the audience! When she is not in the office, you will most probably find Noémie in the dance studio. Today, she teaches her own class and no longer needs her friends to dance for her.
