Two of our clients - AVA Biochem and GFBiochemicals - are shortlisted for the Sofinnova Partners Renewable Chemistry Start-up Award. The award, presented at Bio World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology, recognises the most promising renewable chemistry start-ups.
The Top 5 companies will be selected by popular vote online and an industry jury will select the winner. BIO World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology takes place 19-22 July 2015 in Montreal, Canada.
AVA Biochem has developed a continuous, automated highly-scalable production process for high-quality 5-HMF in crystalline form or aqueous solution. As a platform chemical, renewable 5-HMF has applications in a wide range of sectors, including chemicals, plastics, food, pharma and automotive.
