BRUSSELS – 28 October 2015 – Leading bioeconomy advocates Sustainability Consult and NNFCC announced a partnership to offer new integrated consultancy services to the biobased industries at EFIB* today.
Following the acquisition of biotechnology company Virdia in 2014, Stora Enso is buildinga demonstration and market development plant at Raceland, Louisiana, USA as earlier announced. This plant will now become the Stora Enso Biomaterials divisions’ US headquarters.
Our CEO Kathryn Sheridan will moderate Innovation Track 2: ‘Biomaterial innovations in consumer goods’ at the European Forum for Industrial Biotechnology and the Bioeconomy (EFIB) 2015 on 28 October. Four Sustainability Consult clients will make presentations at the conference. Thomas Kläusli will represent AVA Biochem, Marcel van Berkel will speak for GFBiochemicals, Jo Kockelkoren will be present for Reverdia and Juan Carlos Bueno will be there on behalf of Stora Enso.
This will be our fifth EFIB, including exhibiting in 2013. EFIB is a leading European event for the bioeconomy and bio-based industries and will take place on 27-29 October in Brussels.
