Friends have been asking so I’d like to share what I’m doing. If it feels good to you, great. If not, find something else that does. And while you’re looking, keep in mind the things you loved as a kid — playing outside, Smarties, hanging with a pet, that type of thing.

ABT logo copyBangkok, Thailand, 2 March 2020 – Bio-based chemical company Advanced Biochemical (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has announced a capacity increase at its plant in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, which will now produce 120,000 mt/year of bio-based epichlorohydrin (ECH) – an increase of 20,000 mt/year. Permission for this increase was granted by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand.

Anellotech LogoPearl River, NY, USA, 27 February 2020 –Sustainable technology company Anellotech has announced that a laboratory demonstration of its Plas-TCat™ technology – which transforms mixed plastic waste directly into chemicals – successfully converted a Lay’s Barbeque Potato Chip (PepsiCo) bag into paraxylene, the primary chemical used to make virgin PET for beverage bottles. The conversion also had high yields of benzene, toluene and olefins used to make a range of plastics, including polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon, ABS and polycarbonate.
