A New Deal for European Emissions Trading - Sustainability Consult was hired in 2013 by the Center for Clean Air Policy Europe (CCAP-Europe) to work on a publication as input to the European Commission EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) stakeholder consultation. The sister organisation of US-based CCAP, CCAP-Europe is a non-profit association based in Brussels focusing on climate change policy.

Confederation of European Paper Industries

Representing European Pulp And Paper - In 2013, the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI) hired Sustainability Consult to support the ‘Basta! Get back on track!’ campaign. Launched to increase the competitiveness of the European pulp and paper sector, the campaign called on the EU to cut red tape and rethink existing policies.

Demonstrating Renewable Energy Commitment - Renewable energy NGO WindMade promotes the use of wind power globally and its new product labelling programme provides a platform for companies to communicate how much renewable energy they procure and consume. In 2013, Sustainability Consult was brought in to help provide communications support for the launch of the WindMade Product Label.

Nickel Institute

Globally Promoting The Use And Re-Use Of Nickel - We started working for global trade association the Nickel Institute in 2011 to manage media relations around a science-based case in the European Court of Justice. We provided media relations support, media training, social media mapping and assistance with events. We also wrote articles for the Nickel Magazine.

A Low-Carbon Future For The European Ceramic Industry - As part of the ongoing policy debate on the future of European industry and its ability to meet the emissions reductions targets set out by the European Commission, in 2012 Sustainability Consult worked with the European ceramics industry association Cerame-Unie to prepare their contribution to this debate. We wrote, designed and launched the industry’s Ceramic Roadmap entitled ‘Paving the Way to 2050’.
