Following several successful media partnerships this year, Sustainability Consult will be partnering with German bioeconomy trade show BiobasedWorld in 2017.
Previously a biobased-focused section at ACHEMA 2015, BiobasedWorld is a new, standalone event taking place on 15-16 February 2017 in Cologne, Germany. We support the event through outreach efforts to our community.
The Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU) together with 4 of its projects, introduced participants to the products and production methods of the future during the Bratislava Bioeconomy conference (BBEC2016) organised under the Slovakian Presidency of the Council.
The BBI JU presented the potential for the bio-based industries in a range of everyday bio-based products. From dandelion tyres to dresses made from milk fibres, bio-degradable compostable shopping bags to high performance bio-ethanol, BBI JU proved that greener production methods and processes offer real progress towards the reality of a bio-based economy.
Sustainability Consult CEO Kathryn Sheridan will be moderating the ‘Bioplastics in durable applications’ session at the Bioplastics Business Breakfast 2016 on 22 October from 8am-12.30pm. The session will discuss bringing biobased products to market and will include representatives from across the value chain, including the chemicals and plastics industries.
With only ten days to go until voting closes, Sustainability Consult client Reverdia is ranked by the Biofuels Digest Hot 40 as the number two Hottest Early Stage Company in the Advanced Bioeconomy.
Reverdia is nominated in both Biofuels Digest Bioeconomy rankings this year. While the Hot 50 competition has yet to get fully underway, Reverdia is already second in the Hot 40.
